Celebrating Mary For 1700 Years
Tota Pulchra, meaning “All Fair” in Latin, were the famous words of Saint Pope John-Paul II referring to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. This Harp & Voice album soothes the soul and uplifts the spirit with sacred and classical treasures from countries around the world honoring Mary with music dating back as early as the 4th Century to the present with contemporary classical compositions. Vocalists and Choirs are joined with harp as the main accompaniment and common thread throughout the album. Some tracks also include piano, cello and percussion. Several tracks feature the harp in its purist form with beautiful solo renditions.
Voice & Choir, Harp and Instrumental Ensemble.
Also Featuring Vocalists: Frances Peterson (Slumber Song, The Virgin’s Slumber Song), Elizabeth Campisi (Schubert’s Ave Maria), Dana Couey (Mary Did You Know)
